WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT THIS PROJECT AND WHY  CONSIDER IT?

Owego, like other places in which we choose to build communities,  is a place that reminds everyone of where they would want to live if they were not already there. It also gives people a choice that they might not have elsewhere and to join a community where they feel fortunate to live. The sense of belonging, the feeling of comfort, the ability to have a safe feeling- these are just some of the emotional and spiritual benefits one has from a  place like Sidney. It is just small enough to feel welcome but big enough to give people the experiences and opportunities that allow a community to thrive and grow over the long term.

So, what is it that this new development will provide? Well, there is the small matter of affordability. The above items are nice but  cannot be enjoyed without a place to live. At the same time, there is a limit to the price that one will spend and what one is willing to sacrifice to have the benefits of living in a place like Sidney. From what we can tell, it has become increasingly difficult as time passes to not only have all that, and more, but to hang on to it.

The project is currently being reviewed by the planning board to be certain that all aspects of the plan conform to that which would be approved. In the event of any refinements or changes, such update will be included within this page.

PRICE- If you cannot pay for it, you cannot have it. If you have to stretch to pay for it, you cannot enjoy it. Buy a home from us and you can both have it and enjoy it without staying up nights wondering why you did it and how you are going to handle it.

LOT SIZES- We hear from a lot of people that the average lot size in the village is small. Where would that be? Not where you would buy. Where you would buy are lot sizes of  about 10,000 square feet. We chose not to squeeze as many homes as possible into the community and for good reason:

 GREEN AREAS -What is a green area, for a community like this one that, we hope you will enjoy? Well we were asking that as well and we decided there had to be a park for children with a playground. Your children can play while you stroll along the way.
